Do you really like your beer, or are you just a victim of Capitalist Propaganda? How you can learn how the free market works while you guzzle some suds, and how beer can help you to understand the vast conspiracy that is slowly degrading America.

TL;DR - I use the craft beer industry as a way to understand Capitalist Propaganda, how Capitalism and Socialism are inextricably linked to each other, and how through the use of propaganda, companies use the "illusion of choice" to coerce you into believing that you prefer the products that are most favorable to them. In order to change this into the consumer's favor, you need to be an informed consumer in the free market, and raise class consciousness to overthrow the tyranny of Capitalist Propaganda, that is called "Marketing".
***************************************************************************************
You can't understand Capitalist Propaganda unless you have a solid understanding of what Capitalism is beyond the literal definition of the word, which is just an abstract ideal. Propaganda plays off of the discrepancies between the ideals of Capitalism, like the free market, which is another abstract ideal, and the reality of Capitalism in practice in America, which can be characterized as Trickle Down Economics. Capitalism sought to be a pragmatic alternative to its economic predecessors, a fact which drives Capitalist Propaganda. However, through layers of abstraction throughout the years, it has become more of a religion, as critics refer to the increasingly ideological concept as "Supply Side Jesus", meaning you give all the money to the rich, it'll trickle down to the poor, and they can "vote" on the actions of the capitalists through monetary interactions in the free market.
Capitalist Propaganda is engrained in America, because at the time of our founding, Adam Smith wrote "Wealth of Nations", which is considered the Bible of the Free Market. This groundbreaking work utilized Newton's Laws of Physics, which were en vogue at the time, to describe how interactions in the marketplace would balance each other out, just as the laws of Newtonian Physics do.
The very noble purpose of Wealth of Nations was not create the oligarchy we have today, but to do the opposite. He wanted to describe a system that would protect individual freedoms and be truly democratic. Just as Lenin and Stalin bastardized the works of Marx, so too have capitalists in America bastardized the intentions of Adam Smith.
Capitalism and Socialism are best learned side by side, in my opinion, to avoid falling into the trappings of either ideology that our brains like to do. Which one is better? It depends on the market, but the answer is almost always somewhere in between.
Through learning how Socialist concepts can be applied to problems in Capitalism, you can cut through the propaganda and will see for yourself that these problems can be solved if we just drop the labels and do what's best for society and the individual. The problem is always finding the proper balance.

WHAT? CAPITALISM AND SOCIALISM ARE JOINED AT THE HIP?
Yep. You can never live in a pure economic system. Purity is always an illusion. If you want something to be pure, you have to put a lot of energy into making it that way. Nature likes to mix stuff up. This is why ideologies around racial purity and fascism always fail. There are people who want a "pure" economic system, but they are usually the people at the top and would only get richer from more purity while the rest of society loses freedom and slowly starves.
In a nutshell, Capitalism promotes laws that benefit those with money, while Socialism promotes a safety net that benefits everyone. Every single human is born into Socialism. As a baby, you need food, someone else works for it and gives it to you, but then at some point, you are expected to exchange labor for capital, and buy your own food. See? The two are forever bound as the yin and yang. You can also grow your own food, but for that you need land, which is capital.
These interactions are very tricky. I only want to tell you enough so that you can start to see Capitalist Propaganda, because right now, you're like a fish in water that can't see water. I often use this line to describe a person who can't see their own homegrown propaganda. The best way I found to study Capitalism is by relating it Socialism, the "air" above the "water" of Capitalism, if that makes sense.
I always find it best to look at a microcosm to understand these concepts. And today, that microcosm is beer.
Mmmm....Beeeeeeeeeerrrrrrr.....

CONFLICT OF INTEREST AND THE ILLUSION OF CHOICE
Before I poison your mind with my own propaganda, picture you're on vacation and you walk into a bar and want to order a beer. If you really want to understand the power of propaganda in your own life, really think of this before we break this all down. Really think, what makes you decide which beer to order? Do you like to look at the labels on the tap or bottle? That's obvious propaganda. It has absolutely nothing to do with the taste or quality of the beer itself, but sways your opinion toward logos you've seen before, which is why you see so many beer advertisements, which means that money that could've gone into quality is instead going into propaganda, and you're already biased towards an inferior product. Interesting. You really can't help being swayed by marketing, but at least you can be conscious of that fact, and that's important in order to be an informed consumer.
Do you ask the bartender for a recommendation? Why would you do that? You don't know the bartender any better than the beers in front of you. How do you know they aren't paid more to offer you a beer that sucks and is 12 years old and the owner wants to get rid of it? Do you ask for a certain style of beer? Do you ask for a local beer? And once you finally narrow it down to a few choices, do you ask for samples so you can make up your own mind? You should always do this. Then we get into "flavor propaganda", which we'll discuss later. Jeez. Did you every realize there was so much complexity behind being an informed consumer and just ordering a simple beer? Maybe you'll give in and just tell the bartender to pour whatever. Choice is difficult sometimes.
If you really visualize this and take a minute to let this sink in, you'll start to understand how external forces hijack the processor in your mind to manufacture desire through the illusion of choice. However, your health and enjoyment of the beer is not the goal for these external forces, they only want you to purchase. The perfect example is fast food. They know their product sucks, but they know you'll keep buying it, but that doesn't keep them from lying about how delicious it is in their ads. There is far more at play behind the curtain. There is a science behind addicting you to things, this is reinforced by a corporate tax and subsidy system that contorts the free market pushing centralization of production through homogenization and use of chemicals to hide the homogenization, and simply because there is more than one option, they make you feel like you have choice. This, in a nutshell, is how the illusion of choice works in the free market. It's not about what YOU want. The producer manipulates you to think you want what they have. Through this, they deceive Americans into buying products with a list of ingredients that a person would never freely choose to consume. So if you want to order a beer with no shit in it, then you're shit out of luck in America. You could in Germany, but we'll discuss that later.
While you're standing at that bar, you aren't conscious of the fact that your interests are in direct opposition to those of the bar owner's. Capitalists hide this fact with their perfect smiles, but Marx described this in detail. You want the best beer for the cheapest price, and the bar owner wants to sell you the cheapest beer at the highest price you'll pay. It doesn't stop there. The bar owner flips roles in the same situation with the beer distributor, who does the same with maybe another level of distribution, and continues to the brewer, then goes to the brewer versus supplier, supplier to farmer, and even though you'd think it stops there, the farmer has to deal with suppliers of equipment and seeds, and on and on.
Add to this list their auxiliary staff of HR, drivers, managers, brewers, bottle/keg makers, and of course owners, none of them care whether you actually like the beer you're drinking as long as you keep buying more. That's the big driver here.
Did you ever realize that every time you buy a beer, your own capital is partially responsible for creating and sustaining all of these jobs involved? You, my dear beer drinker, are the true job creator. Budweiser can brew all they want, it means nothing without buyers, who are the true engines of capitalism. Instead, you're treated as a rube by suits in a boardroom somewhere.
Capitalist Propaganda tells us the billionaires are job creators, but this is a lie. Jeff Bezos can't drink enough beer to sustain all these jobs. So why do we let him hoard all the money? Wouldn't the economy do better if we spread out Jeff's money so more people could buy more beers and more jobs would be created? According to Socialist Economics, yes. That's actually, quite simply, a Socialist Free Market. Did you even know that existed? The power hungry greedy people who are too lazy for manual labor go to such great lengths to make sure you don't learn it. They want you to think that only Capitalism allows you choice in the market. I'm sure you can guess why they say that.
Capitalism maintains itself by exulting the wealthy who use their economic power to punch down. The only way this system won't fall into fascism and fail is if the consumers start to punch back. Where Marx envisioned the Dictatorship of the Proletariat as they usurped power from the Bourgeoisie, a modern alternative is just teaching people to understand the system we live in, so that we can just start making changes in the way we live and to whom we give our money.
See that? Capitalism and Socialism can get along nicely, so long as the consumers are informed.

CLASS CONSCIOUSNESS AND THE ALIENATION OF LABOR CAUSING LONELINESS IN SOCIETY
What I described within the previous section is what Marx called "Alienation of Labor". Each step in the process of making your beer is isolated from the others, so no one feels ownership over the end product or a true connection to the consumer, or job creator. Even the bartender selling it is alienated from the profit of their labor in serving the beer, so they only focus on the service aspect of giving you the beer, because that is where they earn their tip. They can't really fix anything about a shitty beer other than to offer you a different brand. The capitalist owner is usually not there. Their only interaction is setting the rules for everyone in the bar to follow, and pay themselves more than everyone who has to follow those rules. This is part of the conflict between the classes. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm just pointing it out. The bar owner themself has to spend money on propaganda to attract customers that could be spent in other places, so has to find ways to cut costs. Unfortunately, they buy cheaper beer...and this is why you end up with IPAs. No one is connected to the products, so they only look at prices and find the cheapest, passable product. This is the race to the bottom of Capitalism.
Compare this to when brewpubs were a new thing. The brewer would come out and talk to you about the beer, you would give feedback that could effect future batches and it connected everyone to each other through commerce. It makes business "social" and I think nearly everyone enjoys that, but it is losing out in competition with chain breweries that enforce isolation and make cookie cutter propaganda and cookie cutter business models so they can turn owners into managers and suck all the profit back their corporate headquarters and offshore accounts. They kill the experience and make everything transactional. And all the kitsch they hang around their cookie cutter chain bar is just to hide the fact that no one in that place cares about anything other than not getting fired. Everyone is effectually alienated from everyone else. It's worth a read to check out this page on Marx's Theory of Alienation.
This alienation is the root of a lot of misery in society. Humans are communal animals forced to live in a society of individuality and alienation. As they mope around, they seek an escape. And that is why advertising is so nefarious. It seeks to manipulate you in that state. Imagine driving home from your alienating job to you empty home, but looking up and see a billboard with bunch of actors laughing and drinking beer. They take pictures that make these actors look like friends. It's just for show. They aren't selling beer to those laughing people in the picture. They're tempting lonely people to drown their sorrows. Capitalist Propaganda is used so your brain doesn't understand what it wants. It wants friends, then sees the words Bud Light. So when the bartenders asks...Make it a Bud Light. Look at how much money they spend to manipulate and capitalize on people's suffering.
Propaganda in Communist countries is controlled by the government, so it's clear who the enemy of your freedom is. Capitalist Propaganda hides behind the layers of complexity of the same economy you rely on to survive, so you never know what's propaganda or where it's coming from. Marketers find every way imaginable to get their disinformation in front of your eyes, even enlisting your friends on Facebook in annoying MLM schemes. Propaganda invaded everything that can be legally monetized. It's in the media, and not just commercials anymore. There's product placement, stories injected into the news, and even movies and social media created an entire industry of "lifestyle propaganda", telling you how to live your life and indulge in overconsumption. It's REALLY hard to get away from Capitalist Propaganda. There is so much money and research behind it and so much depth, even this long post is only barely scratching the surface. I just want to open your eyes to it.
I can't make you see all this. No one can. I can only describe it as best as I can. What you will experience when you understand this is what I call "Economic Enlightenment", similar to what Marx called "Class Consciousness". Once it happened to me, the world looked amazing, and the shitty propagandists selling us false hope all look like clowns in a very odd circus of vanity, despair and mediocrity.
Once I understood this, I saw clearly how we are increasingly trapped in a form of Corporate Slavery, led by seriously ridiculous oligarchs like Mark Zuckerberg, who thinks he's the reincarnation of Augustus Caesar or something. That's why he has that haircut! This is a guy who stole a company and hired "screen psychologists" from Las Vegas to get you hooked on Facebook the same as casinos do with slot machines. He wants to be the funnel for propaganda throughout the world. He wants to be the kingmaker, decide what people buy, who they like, what views they hold. He can only do this because so many companies spend so much money to put their propaganda on that platform. They can only have this much money because the free market is not actually free. It's bought and paid for on platforms like Facebook and Amazon. The money that was supposed to "trickle down" is instead being spent on Capitalist Propaganda on these platforms, to get the proletariate to trickle their money up through endless, nonsensical online purchasing and local businesses who send the town's money to people who can't do anything with it but buy up properties that increase your rent and cost of living.
When people get drunk on the power of propaganda, they forget the lessons of the past. Propagandists always fall prey to their own delusions over time. In reality, your life is better without Facebook. There isn't anything on there that is healthy. Even if you just want to talk to a few friends, you are going to fall for the propaganda there. You can't help it. And if your bar advertises on Facebook, just think, that money could've gone into purchasing higher quality beer then sold at the same price, instead of going to Mark Zuckerberg so he can drop $30 million to buy the houses around him so no one can spy on him while he spies on you. You really gotta watch out for a guy who combines spying and propaganda all into a single app and thinks he's going to bring 200 years of peace to America. History is littered with knuckleheads like that. It's best to get off Facebook and encourage everyone else to do the same. Zuck only wants to lead himself to the Promised Land, and he's using your ignorance to fuel his own delusions by deluding you into thinking you want what he has to offer.
Let's get back to beer.

***************************************************************************************
IPAs AND THE FREE MARKET VS THE RACE TO THE BOTTOM
I like beer. When I worked in Germany, it was easy to walk into a bar and, like Farva, just order a liter o' beer. Often, there would only be two choices, light color or dark. As a matter of fact, even at the most famous beer festival in the world, Oktoberfest, people mostly drink the same standard type of beer, and no one complains about the lack of choice. It's quite easy. You can order with one finger. No need to see a menu or ask what's in it. It's simply beer. This worked for centuries. Consumers are fine with it. Prost! Have you ever shared a story like this and people say, "Oh, that would never work in America. Americans want choice." Yeah. Because we are flooded with Capitalist Propaganda.
So if consumer choice isn't pushing for a selection, why would a free market call for it? Imagine there are two bars and one of those bars says "30 beers on tap" and the other doesn't. You're more likely to choose it, and the other bar will have to compete in some way, often by copying. This forms trends, and people mistake this for something customers wanted. Trends are always marketing. Don't believe me? What happened to fidget spinners? So now you have a bunch of beers that no one asked for, yet will now demand. Competition creates more Capitalist Propaganda to create demand for something you never even wanted, but makes you think you do. And that's the best propaganda. You think you are thinking for yourself. This is the fallacy of consumer choice.
If you want to understand just how important that last paragraph is, consider this, "consumer choice" is the same propaganda they used to get you to carry around a device that spies on you 24/7 and sends that data to people you don't know, and you can't stop it, can you? You chose that. You wanted it. Not only that, but you paid $1,000 for the device to opt into their spying program, for the privilege of being mind controlled by the propaganda their AI selects for you. Did you read the Terms of Service? As bad as you may have thought Communist Propaganda was, Capitalist Propaganda is far better, and far stealthier. You believe you have freedom of choice. But your only choice is usually take it, or leave it. Oh, you need it for work? Maybe find a different job. Or just succumb to mass surveillance, and next year, you can drop another grand on a device with a marginally better camera.
There is a way to free yourself. You just have to understand the nature of propaganda. It took me a while, but I eventually broke free. Under Socialism, there would be laws against the exploitation of consumers. Capitalist Propaganda tells you that this takes away your freedom. This is a lie. Regulations give you the freedom to not have to worry whether the beer you're drinking has poison in it.
Germany has a lot of regulations on beer. It has the Reinheitsgebot (purity order), a law passed in 1516 that states that beer can only consist of water, hops and barley. Note, this is a different use of the word "purity" from earlier, as beer is itself a mixture of things. Historically there have also been regulations where beer could only be sold regionally, so no matter what part of Germany you were in, you only got a certain brand of beer at the bar, but it didn't matter because they all had the same ingredients. They could make wheat beers or unfiltered, but they were generally variations of pilsners and lagers. One meaning of the word "Lager" in German is "storage", meaning the beer was brewed in a way that it could be stored, allowing them to brew in bigger batches and store it.
Lagers use a more complex brewing process, so only larger breweries would make them, but this worked because of protected territories. America has a similar system, because each state has its own regulations on alcohol, but this is changing as corporate lawyers fight to homogenize the rules favorable to them, but the consumer loses control. Big brands tend to be lagers as they have general appeal to a wide audience. Did you notice this is the second time I pointed out that corporations create homogeneity? Without regulations, corporations create Fascism. That is why I tell people that we already live in the NWO but corporations rule the world instead of governments. Why do you think so few conspiracy theorists make this connection? Propagandists are paid a lot of money to keep even our small community confused about the reality of what's happening. Now, check out conspiracy and you'll see what I mean. They are spreading propaganda for the NWO over there and don't even know it. I tried to point that out and they finally banned me. Oh well. They'll figure it out in their own time.
In America, in 1978 it became legal to brew beer at home. This is what led to the explosion of new beers in the US decades later. Americans don't have purity laws, so could test new recipes. But people didn't generally like IPAs before, so how did they become so popular that they control 30% of the market? Marketing, of course. Create the market and tell people what they want.
IPA stands for India Pale Ale. It was invented by the British as an easy way to make a beer that they could drink in India. People only drank it out of necessity, as the other beers couldn't make the trip. IPAs are very easy to make and very forgiving, because if you mess it up, it already tasted bad anyway. As people started trying to get into microbrews, they often didn't have the capital to make lagers at small scale, and also wanted a simpler process so they didn't have to hire or train expert brewers, IPAs are cheap and easy to make at smaller scale.
In order to make it drinkable, brewers experimented with many different flavorings. This created a cult following of craft IPAs, where people would drive hours to stand in line for hours to try the newest concoction. The trendy nature of the craft beer world kept people training their palate to adapt to the taste of an IPA, making people start to actually like them. The flavorings made people think they were different, so even if they didn't like it, marketing tactics kept people coming back to try the latest blend. Your palate can adapt A LOT. Swedish people love Surströmming, but watch this video of Americans trying it for the first time. They tried to get me to eat it several times, but I would rather sit in a sauna until Tuesday to avoid smelling it while watching them eat it. It really smells that bad.
IPAs enticed people with popular, aromatic ingredients like bananas and pineapple. This is what I call "flavor propaganda". It's not bad in and of itself, but it can be easily misused to cover issues with quality or hide the taste of preservatives. Since we don'e have laws like Germany, you're left to rely on the knowledge and honesty of the bartender to find out. They don't make this info readily available, which is another form of Disinformation.
So if you think you actually like IPAs, just remember, you are just like a Swede eating rotten fish. A lot of propaganda went in to making IPAs popular, but it's the cheapest, easiest product to make that can be sold at the highest price, so they become popular. This is what business students call a business plan. To overcome the bad taste, IPAs were marketed as "classy" to shame you if you choose the more expensive to produce and more appealing pilsners and lagers, which were given a bad name due to being associated with major brands like Bud Light. This makes it harder to market microbrew lagers, which can only fetch a certain price due to association. And this is what is referred to as the "race to the bottom" in Capitalism.
Instead of trying to innovate ways to produce the beers you want, they just figure out how to get you to pay more for an inferior product, just like they do with BBQ. They make you think you want it. From this you can understand why "food" is full of junk that you wouldn't feed your dog. Whatever legal poison helps cheapen the product is considered "smart business", another propaganda term designed to hide the reality of doing immoral and harmful things to other humans for profit. If you make money on it, it's good. As if there aren't better choices we could come up with if there truly were a free market with an informed consumer.
***************************************************************************************
***************************************************************************************
STRENGTHEN THE FREE MARKET BY BEING AN INFORMED CONSUMER
We don't need a Communist Revolution to make positive changes, so take off your ski masks and put your Antifa flags down. I like microbrew culture and still enjoy IPAs, but understanding the marketplace is how I do my part as an informed consumer and job creator to help create the world that I want to live in. I encourage you to do the same. Vote with your dollars. Don't let the Zuck-type sociopathic, corporate people in a distant land decide what you consume by looking at ads on his platform. Visit local breweries and talk to the brewmaster. Don't reinforce alienation from labor. Connect with the people who make the things you buy. Support independent entrepreneurship. These are the paths to a brighter future where we share in the abundance of wealth.
Discover Economic Enlightenment for yourself and realize that We The People are ultimately in control. Wealth inequality is greater than it was in France before the French Revolution. Don't let this train take us into the depths where another Lenin will arise and spend the night shooting people.
How you choose to spend your money today is what decides what will become the society of tomorrow. And remember, you always have the choice to buy nothing at all. I never saw a billboard that said that.

***************************************************************************************
LET THEM DRINK BEER!
I hope this gave you a glimpse behind the curtain of Capitalist Propaganda. Propaganda isn't just political, it has invaded everything and it's at full blast right now. I hope you can piece together how Capitalist Propaganda is actually designed to make you subservient by controlling what you want so they can maximize their own profit and teach you to accept whatever they offer, the homogenization of choice. However, your life is your own and you should remain in control of all aspects of it, including your desires.
Richard Wolff is an economist who studied at three elite universities in America and discusses how he was not able to even learn about Socialist Economics in the ivory tower, even though Capitalist Propaganda calls universities leftist. He found no department in America that is even willing to teach it or study it. Capitalist Propaganda censors these ideas, especially at the university. People in power don't want the serfs to learn about themselves. Check him out on YouTube. You'll realize that unchecked Capitalism leads to Fascism and Slavery, which is why they want to get rid of the minimum wage, so that we can return to sharecropping which is already increasingly happening in America under different names, like "student debt", "mortgages" and "insurance". Don't you think it's odd that a person has to go into debt so they can generate profits for corporations who really ought to be paying for this education themselves? If you have to go into debt before they'll hire you, it's much easier to negotiate against you.
If you want to see other examples of propaganda, check out this random tweet from one of America's Top Capitalist Propagandists. These are very odd pictures, and the only thing I can see in them is that they must be promoting those outfits, likely the blue dress, maybe those men's outfits as well. One thing you know is that she didn't become a billionaire by letting any single opportunity to enrich herself at the expense of others pass her by. I didn't look it up, but I am certain they sell that blue dress, or whoever does paid her to post this.
That's the main reason celebrities use social media. It's marketing. Their whole schtick is to sell garments made in a sweatshop in a foreign country by people who can't even afford a beer to Americans who are facing bankruptcy and homelessness themselves.
Read the replies of the tweet. These people have influence that vastly outsizes their understanding of their impact on the world. There are guillotines in the comments. There usually are. I'm seeing them a lot lately.
This type of propaganda is everywhere. And it's destroying America. Just like propaganda led to the demise of Nazi Germany, we could be looking at the same thing, but worse. It could start off as famine.
If you're having trouble deciding between the beers you are being offered, it's probably because you don't want anything at all, in which case the proper choice is: nothing. Or, try tap water. Maybe you're just thirsty. Now ask yourself, when you envisioned yourself at a bar, did you ever think to order water instead? Did you entertain the idea that you didn't even want a beer. That's the power of suggestion.
What if the rest of the world just cut America off from the means of production outsourced to areas with cheap labor? We would have our own famine and likely war. And if we have a revolution here, with the masses in the country being so disinformed about everything and not having any sort of class consciousness at the moment and instead stuck in alienation, the leader that rises here will likely lead to something horrifying. And we censor ourselves from pointing out the simple fact, that the only way America will survive is to tax the deluded royalty like Kim and Mark back to reality, so they can't indulge their reckless, childish delusions by selling off the very fabric of our nation to the highest bidder.
That doesn't make me a Socialist, that just makes me honest.
Enjoy your beer!

[Facebook][2005] A Deleted Facebook Classic

Platform(s): Facebook (only on computer)
Genre: A game about making friends and creating a home
Estimated year of release: 2005ish
Graphics/art style: Cartoonish and big heads
Notable characters: Most characters would wear slotted shades and angel/devil wings on their backs to show they were rich in the game
Notable gameplay mechanics: All houses were setup in a fixed camera position where the room is viewed from above at a 45° angle, almost making the room look like a diamond if you rotate it around the X axis (that was boring information)
Other details: The game I am thinking of has been removed from Facebook for maany years now. It was around during Farmville's peak days on Facebook. You were able to create rooms like movie theaters, casino rooms, etc. by placing objects on a grid of your floorplan. The game would only show one room at a time if I remember correctly and there were no exteriors to the home or any other floors (second, basement, etc.). It was more of a kid's/teenager's game than an adult's game.

Evolutionary Maladaptations, or how Moths and Modern Women Are Alike

We usually think of evolutionary urges as always being good. Like the drive to reproduce, or find a good mate. But when an environment changes rapidly, adaptations that previously served a species well can frequently end up hurting them. In the worst case scenarios, those maladaptations can drive a species extinct (e.g. the dodo bird).
To take an example from the animal world, it's speculated that moths' well-known attraction to bright flames developed when the only source of light was the sun or moon. Those rays of light, being from such a distant source, are essentially parallel, and so flying towards such a light is a good way to maintain a straight path. And of course, a moth is safe doing so because it will never actually hit the sun or moon.
But once humans came along and could create artificial sources of light, that moth adaptation that served it so well became a curse. A close-in light source doesn't emit parallel light rays, which means moths following such sources start circling it erratically, getting closer and closer, until eventually it gets too close and gets fried.
I humbly suggest that women's hypergamy is a similiar adaptation that used to serve a good purpose but is now a maladaptation.
Hypergamy is a biological imperative. Evolutionarily speaking, a man improved his chances to pass on his genes by having sex with as many females as possible. Quality didn't matter, only quantity. If you could impregnate the alpha female, that's great, but there was no reason to not *also* impregnate the beta / charlie / delta females too. That's why even hot guys will "slum it" with undesirable women for quick, easy sex. OTOH, since a woman can only have 1 child every 9 months, and must raise it afterwards, she does much better by being more selective about who she allows to impregnate her. Therefore, she's programmed to go after the absolute best guy she can get. If evolution allowed her to feel tingles from undesirable men, she'd be less successful at passing on her genes than a woman who was more selective.
Unfortunately, hypergamy never evolved to deal with unavailable men. It evolved when we humans / chimps lived in small colonies of maybe 20-50 people and you had a reasonable shot with any of the males. If hypergamy made you wait for some mythical chimp in another chimp colony 100 miles away, someone who would never actually arrive, then females would never have reproduced and evolution would have weeded it out.
This was fine because until now, the only eligible men you met were all in your high school class and local neighborhood, fairly similar in size and social ties to our original hunter-gatherer colonies. In those situations, hypergamy prevented you from settling with the worst guy, and pushed you to at least try for the best guys. So when the so-so guy flirted with you, you blew him off, waiting to see if the better guy was interested. And you were incentivized to work on traits that would attract high-value men, like being attractive, having a good personality, showing that you could be a good mother, etc. That's not a bad thing. Furthermore, if you didn't get the absolute best, the next guy was not that much worse, so you were satisfied with that. E.g. say the best guy in your high school was the starting quarterback for your HS team. That's great, but he isn't Tom Brady. And the next-best guy is not that much worse an option.
In our new, social media-driven environment, hypergamy has become maladaptive, because it exposes women to a bunch of guys who they don't really have a chance with (at least to marry), yet the same instinct kicks in. Now, instead of only being exposed to your high school quarterback, if you post an ass selfie, you might get a DM from Gronkowski or some other professional player who's following some hashtag you wrote. Do you have a shot at marrying him? Unlikely. Yet once you get that 'like', your hypergamy kicks in and says that's the guy you need to pursue and drop all the others.
It's even worse, because the difference between Gronkowski and your neighborhood beta dude is far, far more than the difference between the HS quarterback and that beta (in a few years, that beta might even exceed him, by getting a better job and staying in shape, while the HS QB never goes to college, gets fat, and ends up working at the local gas station). So "settling" for the beta guy seems like even more of a drop, when the alpha you thought you had a chance with isn't just the HS QB, but Tom Brady or Gronk.
Similarly, even if you lived in NYC, unless you worked in the finance industry, or went to one of their elite schools, or moved in their circles, you would never meet a hedge fund guy. They might as well have been on Mars for all you'll have access to them from Queens or Jersey. Now, put your picture on Tinder, and you'll probably get a reply. He's looking to slum it for a night, but your hypergamy kicks in, makes you think you have a chance and should hold out for him, and now, anyone less than a billionaire hedge fund manager is no longer acceptable.
Hypergamy has always been about taking a gamble: holding out for the better guy, hoping that you get him. But if you hold out too much and end up with no one to reproduce with, you lose the game. That's what's happening now.
Social media is giving women the illusion that those top 20% are available to them. Years ago, if you lived in Cleveland, OH, there was no way to even meet a celebrity in Hollywood or a hedge fund manager in NYC. Now, if you post an ass selfie on Instagram, you might get DMs from celebrities, rich guys, not to mention thirsty dudes from Saudi Arabia and India asking you to show your bobs and vagene. It's not uncommon for an average instagram ho to get hundreds of messages from guys when she posts a selfie. And it's not uncommon for girls to get literally *thousands* of matches over the course of a year on tinder. In the past, an average girl would never even *meet* a thousand eligible guys in her lifetime.
But they never realize the truth: that financier in NYC is either going to marry his college sweetheart, someone from work, or someone else in a similar socioeconomic group. Yes, some will marry their secretaries, but the vast majority don't. You can fuck him all you want. When he's ready to raise kids, he'll choose someone who will be a "good mother" and that includes navigating the socioeconomic circles necessary to ensure his kids will get into the top private schools, have the "right" playdates with the right kids, and socialize with the right families. Etc. Marriage at those levels is a lot more than just sex and tingles. The availability of these men to the average woman is illusory. But they don't know that, so they keep thinking they have a shot with them. Or they do know that, but wish to keep trying anyway because they think getting pumped-n-dumped is "so close" to getting one of them to commit. Either way, their hypergamous drive never evolved to distinguish available from unavailable men, because in ancient times, the small number of guys you knew were all potentially available, and you never had any contact with unavailable men anyway.
Social media is the antithesis of those small, close-knit social and kin networks from which hypergamy evolved. It's designed to tease you with possibilities (so that you keep clicking). In the past, girls would have crushes on some celebrity and maybe put his pictures up on their bedroom walls. But they knew he was out of reach, and so their hypergamous drive would focus on guys more available. Now, if she posts an instagram picture with her tits out, there's a good chance a celebrity will DM her, or at least 'like' her picture. Heck, most celebrities have social media teams that respond to fan tweets and facebook posts, deliberately trying to get you to think you have a real "connection" to the celebrity (so that you'll see his/her next movie).
I liken it to how a casino is designed. Most of us are mathematically innumerate. But we do have a reasonable, intuitive sense to correctly deal with everyday probabilities like 1:2, maybe 1:10, and can make the right choices in those scenarios. Our intuition breaks down when you're talking 1:1 million or 1:1 billion, because in our everyday lives, we never ran into those types of probabilities until modern times. Casinos are designed to take advantage of this deficiency by trying to convince you that the odds of that million-dollar jackpot are "intuitively" the same as the 1:10 chance you're familiar with in everyday life. They do this by having lots of bells ringing, lights flashing, etc. and dribbling out a few coins every couple of pulls to keep you thinking you're about to hit the jackpot any second now. Eventually, you end up with an empty wallet, wondering why you never won the jackpot when it was "so close". And then you blame the slot machine and kick it :-)
The modern sexual marketplace is even worse. At least casinos are regulated and can't lie about the actual probabilities (if you look closely, every slot machine will have fine print on the side telling you what the odds of each payout is). No such restriction keeps a hedge fund guy from telling a woman what her real chances of being married to him are. And no such restriction keeps Tinder from trying to convince you that all those thousands of matches are guys who want to marry you and shower you with gifts and make all your princess dreams come true.
And that totally messes up normal hypergamy. It's like asking a brain that has developed a sense for optimizing 1:10 probabilities, to intuitively optimize a 1:1 million chance. Social media tricks a girl's normal drive into believing she has a chance with these guys, and that those are the guys she should aim for. So she aims for them, ignoring the good but normal guys around her that she could choose from. And after 10 years, she wonders why she never got any of the guys she was aiming for (even though they were "so close" because they'd pump-n-dump her off a tinder match), while simultaneously, emptying her "SMV wallet" such that she's now not able to attract any of the remaining good guys around her. Which means she'll become a single cat lady and never pass on her genes, even with a "lousy" mate.
Now, I don't mean to say hypergamy is all bad. A little bit, tempered with an understanding of probabilities, can still be good. And that's what marriage-minded women in their 20s essentially do. They stay away from riding the CC, and focus on getting the best mate. She doesn't chase celebrities, or blow the band's lead guitarist backstage after the concert. The absolutely hottest ones might lock down an alpha guy, or maybe an older alpha guy who played the field but now wants to start a family. And less attractive girls marry less attractive but good guys like their high school sweethearts, someone they met in college, or maybe in their early working years to a co-worker or a friend-of-a-friend. That's what we mean when we say a woman in her 20s can easily find a decent man to marry. Yeah, you may not get a millionaire Christian Grey, but there are lots of decent men, and plenty of them get paired up with girls who aren't supermodels but are good, decent women.
But hypergamy in large doses is now maladaptive. It leads women to keep pulling the lever in the casino hoping to land the jackpot. And they keep pulling until they hit late 30s/40s, etc. At which point their "SMV wallet" is empty. At that point, even a 70th percentile man is now out of reach. Because those men (assuming single, never married) want to have kids. And it doesn't matter how beautiful and accomplished you are, no guy who wants a family wants to marry someone who is going to have significant problems with that. Every profile of a late 30s woman starts by talking about her college degree, her love of traveling, yadda yadda. None of that matters much. She would do better by posting a doctor's note stating that she's still fertile.
Women get shell shocked by how quickly and steeply their value drops. If you're attractive in your early/mid 20s, you can literally have celebrities trying to get into your pants. Lots of stories abound of drunk A-list celebrities hooking up at bars, clubs with random women. When you hit your mid/late 30s, even a fat schlub with a boring, so-so job wants nothing to do with you, or thinks *he's* the one settling if he has to marry you. That's a stunning fall, something many women have a massive difficulty accepting. Just look at e.g. Elizabeth Taylor, one of the most beautiful and famous women in the world. She had marriages and affairs with some of the most rich, famous, and powerful men in the world. And yet, her last husband was an ugly construction worker with a mullet.
In many ways, extreme hypergamy is worse than the most predatory casino. Because most of us, even if we lose all our money in Vegas, can go home, work, fill our wallet back up, and go back to Vegas and try again (or finally wise up and spend our money on more realistic but boring investments like a mutual fund). But a woman who listens to her extreme hypergamy, gives in to the lies that social media tells her about how that 6'4" millionaire with 6-pack abs is "just a swipe away!", and keeps pulling away at the one-armed bandit, and eventually ends up with an empty RMV wallet that she can't ever refill. At that point, 40 years old and without a man, or children, her hypergamous instinct leads her to extinguish her genetic line. The exact opposite of what it was supposed to do.
At the end of the day, an evolutionary drive that served her well for thousands of years has been unable to adapt to the new environment created by social media and the sexual revolution. Just like our sense of probabilities is good for telling us when it's safe to cross the street, but breaks down in a casino. It will probably take several generations at least, for this drive to be re-calibrated to the new environment (or the environment might change again). And in the meantime, lots of women are losing the RMV equivalent of their life's savings by it.

Everything you need to know about social gambling

https://preview.redd.it/zfvv7qvvzod41.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9e20582c31e0d78c60b4b1dd7bfe3a51f2b7b871
Everyone right here reading this is probably a gambler. And honestly, who doesn't love gambling? Everyone does. While many men fear that they might lose and refrain from playing, there are a number of them who proceed forward and do gaming. Moreover, gambling is no more limited to the shops we see around. The coming in of the internet and social media platforms has given way to social gambling.
Social gambling is basically like playing online casino games. In today's world, one cannot ignore the prominence of social gambling. Social slots and online betting casino games have gained extreme popularity among the people.
What is social gambling?
Although social gambling is so popular, several people still aren't familiar with what social gambling is. Well, if you are one of those, then have the idea that social gambling is an easy way to quick money. Like in a real casino, you get access to coins; in social gambling, you would get access to the same, but in a freeway.
There are several websites, such as IGame, Karjala Casino, and more, that give you access to some of the best platforms for paying and playing. You can easily play these games on your mobile phones. All you need to do is download the game on your mobile devices.
One of the most significant benefits of playing online casino games is that you won't get addicted. In the case of casino played online, there is no involvement of real cash. Also, over the years, these social gambling games are becoming excessively popular. If you have been using Facebook, you should know that several people are very active in playing these social gambling games.
Why are social gambling games becoming popular?
One of the most significant complaints people have always had is the reason behind the popularity of social gambling games. The online betting casino games are appealing to everyone. Through this platform, you will be able to play your favorite gambling games without having to care much about what you are winning or losing. All you need to care about is that you won't be losing your hard-earned money.
There are a number of countries where you may be restricted to gambling because laws are stringent. But when you're playing online, there is absolutely no need to abide by these laws, and you can play any game you like.
Who doesn't like to boast about their wins? If you are an online casino, you will get the opportunity to boast about your winnings through an online platform. You can now share how much you have won. Nonetheless, it is not necessary to share about your wins on social media. But if you are playing the games through apps, there is surely an option of sharing and there you go, showing off your mad gambling skills to your social media friends.
Will you need to play?
A number of websites and apps are free. If you want to relish the charm of social gambling, you can always do so since it is free. But, there are a number of apps and websites that will charge you. While you may want to stick to the free one, some of the games can just get you the option of paying just to avail of some extra features. So, if you want to get those extra features, you surely can get your hands on the apps.
You can check a number of online casinos to determine how you would like to proceed with the game and eventually earn cash. Become rich in no time with the online betting casino.

Casino DLC: A musing on what it might be, and what I'd like.

So I know multiple people have posted similar, but, allow a man to dream.

Whilst we know it's gonna come with another almighty drip feed...cars, perhaps gradually released missions, hell...there's talk of a heist maybe being added...aside from any of this I really want the experience in the casino to be engaging and worthy of GTA.
What I don't want is for them to half ass it, turn it into another boring instalment of the same old overused mechanism: buy property / expensively (and possibly pointlessly) upgrade said property / source & deliver. It wouldn't be so bad if they facilitated a little extra individualism by way of more than 1 interior layout (looking at you nightclubs).
Having said that, how are they actually going to make this dlc? I will say that thinking a little about it, I wouldn't mind and could get excited about the idea of owning a casino and therefore managing another revenue stream. I'm not going to flesh out what I'd like that to include mind you, because, I'd much prefer the casino to simply be an environment for us to visit and spend time in.
Obviously though, where $ are involved R* will be looking for their own 'monei drop plz', being the shark card peddling deviants they are. And so, albeit without choice of location (a la Arena War), selling each of us the casino as a business opportunity makes sense. I very much doubt they will give us a fairly richly designed, engaging environment, just to try and make money from drip feed vehicles.

So despite my quite fancying casino ownership, this makes me sad...because what we are missing is places where as a user-base we can come together and be relatively civil and hang out. I'm quite happy for uncivil people to vent sheer anger down their headset as they bet it all on black, only for red to come in. But let's have somewhere to engage with each other or just the environment, in a less confrontational 'destroy everything' manner. The savagery that occurs down at Vanilla Unicorn sometimes...sheds tear.
With this said, what doesn't seem viable though, is for us to walk up to the casino doors to then get 32 options of which one to enter! It seems that to encourage interaction there should be plenty of NPC's and up to 32 players entering the same, the only casino.
So in my ideal world...what I would like from a non purchaseable casino dlc is:

1 - Poker:
I haven't played RDR, so I don't know how that version plays...but am aware indeed that RDR was probably R*'s testing ground and that what is there...is probably what will get reskinned to GTA.
For years I have pined for a poker minigame, not just an afterthought, but a well created one that immerses its players for as long as they wish. If Zynga can keep people logged into Facebook for full aeons of time, then, as with all good budding business ideas, why can't R* exclaim "why not" or "what if"...and end up with a decently functioning poker game that hooks its own player base?
However, I can see it now: no differing stakes, max buy-in $20,000...just like the Premium Races; or $1000 like the normal betting on races! Ok, $1000 is stupidly low, so surely not.
But they'll definitely want to prevent illegitimately gained money being dumped off to poor friends. They'll want to ensure people can't get wildly rich without having been driven to Sharkcard'ism. Good poker players can forget about making their GTA riches at the cloth.
What would be a great feature, one that would bring new life to past content, would be allowing home games in your apartments. Pop up poker table, invite people over, and play away. Personalised tables, chip sets, a hot hostess bringing your drinks orders to the table. ...Perhaps I'm now taking it too far!
To wrap up, a nice range of options for poker at the casino would be very welcome. I know tournaments are out of the question, even STT's. But a nice cash game poker room, with a choice of stakes, would be wonderful.

2 - House games / Slots:
A nice large gaming floor, mezzanine levels, private high roller areas, a mix of the usual games...would all be appreciated. Let's make this building we've all been waiting for -> wishing for -> dreaming of -> given up hope of ... a magnificent building that we want to spend time in and explore.

3 - Entertainment:
Remember the Perestroika from GTA 4? It would be great to have a stage with a few acts on, giving us another activity to experience. Now, obviously this is farrrrrr to much to expect...the all round design and labour on this is out of the question. But whilst we're dreaming...

4 - Music:
The music in the GTA:San Andreas casinos was fantastic. It really provided a great fun feel when entering. Hopefully the music is similarly good, yet with a bigger playlist.

5 - Immersion:
Onto smaller (and some dreamland) features now! I want the casino to be a place of no tryhards, no violence, no weapons. To be like the stripclub is not enough. No killing the doorman then letting guns blaze. No being like GTA:SA where you could survive whilst security and police come to gun you down. It should be like the security functions in the facility, guns disabled.
Dreamland: An on-site restaurant. An apartment for overnight stays / comps. NPC's that get pissed off with our plays at the table that then follow us when we leave to teach us a lesson. Remember the taxi driver options of previous games, well how about a 'Be a dealer' minigame. A valet minigame as well.

6 - Dripfeed Content:
Well, those better versed in culture than me could suggest vehicles of a casino related nature. I imagine that some of the cars associated with films that feature casinos should be an option; James Bond movies amongst many others.
Besides the thematically related options I'll certainly look forward to an injection of new vehicles. My garages won't, but I think we're well beyond the days of wishing for increased garage space!! There's plenty of vehicles that different demographics of the user base would like. Personally, give me some more luxury sedans, some more JDM...starting with a Mitsubishi GTO/3000, along with an old style Honda NSX/Acura.
Let's see some more clothing additions and perhaps a few new quick actions as well.

All in all I'm really looking forward to this DLC. I actually managed to curb my GTA addiction in recent months. Going from hours a day to minutes a month. Done right this DLC could have me chasing the dragon all over again - figuratively speaking, of course.

Beyond a Casino DLC....I still crave a pimping empire. Bring back looking after hoes. Let us go cruising for those ladies of the night, 'persuading' them to work for us...choosing their look...and putting them to work. My god, the possibilities.....
Anyway......, I know I've verbal diarrhoea'd this post; but if you want similar stuff, or fancy things I've missed...then share away and let's start a convo, let's build up our anticipation for the release.

And if you got this far...then well...quick action double tap: Salute

Bitwin Token — Anatomy of a Network Effect

Bitwin Token — Anatomy of a Network Effect
The vital principle in issuing a successful token is not only by doing thorough due diligence to find the best product market fit, but also crafting a powerful token definition. To really make the tokenization of an idea come to life, it is also required to build a meaningful community around it and incentivize its user base for a coin utilization and value creation. Bitwin 2.0 platform is able to achieve that by identifying and converging two concepts of communities within the project.
First, the community is based on the Bitwin customer centricity rule, which is what the platform is trying to accomplish with all its current means. Bitwin utility token backbone assumptions were derived from the players and bettors convenience, enjoyment and entertainment needs. The whole approach in creating the sophisticated and advanced tech platform arose from recognition of casino consumers pain points, and one of them is a lack of crucial impact that players can have on the platform. To address this issue, plus equally satisfy customers demands, the platform grants them interactive capabilities to actively shape the Bitwin gaming ecosystem and the main site content. The intrinsic functionality of Bitwin Token gives the players right to vote on their favourite games from the ever evolving content, submitted by the Developer Community.
Speaking about Developers Community, it’s a novel market idea to sustain Bitwin’s rich gaming variety. Through sourced Gaming Development Kit, any interested party can develop a gambling product for Bitwin, or other on-chain casinos involved, and try their best to become the industry’s leading game provider, like Microgaming or NetEnt. The players vote with Bitwin Tokens to move their favorite games from the queue to platform’s main feed, meanwhile, most popular third party gambling products are awarded with the profit they made.
This way players gain new interactive dimension, added to a standard gameplay capacity, and at the same time incentivize developers for their efforts. We can gladly say that this mechanism acts as reciprocal content curation between two communities. Games designers are supported with hints on what products are expected to perform well on Bitwin 2.0 platform, plus can get quick feedback on their games. On the other hand, it will be possible to facilitate instant finding of most playable products by curious players and have real impact on the platform outlook. The provided solution leverages token usability in an innovative and unprecedented way.

Visual representation of Bitwin Token Ecosystem.

Bitwin still holds few more aces up in its sleeve. Bitwin Token, to complete the online market large adoption game plan, has to position itself as a first project on the market that offers decentralized, blockchain-based casino, sportsbook and on-chain, whitelabel solutions provider.
Games from Bitwin’s in-house design team and Developers Community will be available to lease and license, to serve as a whitelabel line of products for many different gambling businesses and operators across the globe. Bitwin Token will open the new revenue streams and opportunities for the company and hence, gain a new B2B business functionality and interoperability. Players, from that moment on, will be able to use Bitwin Token not only at www.bitwin.com but also with every platform that deploys gaming content from our own, on-chain solutions provider framework.
To provide really immersive entertainment, and seal it with our token functionality, we invented Bitwin Global Jackpot. Global Jackpot will accumulate a percentage of winnings from all blockchain slots of all BitWin platform operators into one. The process will be calculated by smart contracts. As a result, a lucky Bitwin 2.0 customer could win a huge amount of tokens. It will be the first global cross-operator blockchain jackpot ever created.

Bitwin Global Jackpot Summary.

Recent technological advancements provide those, who wish to get the best gambling entertainment, with an alternative that can soon become open standard in the industry. The tokenization of gambling industry is an inevitable motion and Bitwin prepares well for it, to get the first mover advantage.
It’s obvious to us that to build and maintain sustainable relationships with gambling consumers, earn reputable presence on the market and change current situation, Bitwin not only has to remain competitive at every stage of the challenge, but has to offer the most attractive gaming conditions in terms of paradigm shift. Without it, online casino and sportsbook establishment will exist unchanged.

Bet365 and Trimark Team up to Launch Mobile Scratchcard Games

Leading online gaming operator bet365 has just launched a total of ten new mobile scratchcard games in collaboration with the Gibraltar-based developer Trimark Gaming. These games have been launched in partnership with Odobo, which has made its mark on the gaming industry by providing innovative gaming platforms. These ten games are being made available for real money play in bet365’s mobile website Games section. Among the games that bet365 customers will soon be able to enjoy are popular video slot machine titles like Astro, The Amazing Circus, Beauty Salon, Haunted Mansion, Geisha Memoirs, Hillbilly Haven, Shopping Spree, Tiki Treasure, Pirate's Treasure Trove and Rockstar Riches. The beauty of these games is that each of them features a random multiplier, which pays the player as much as five times their original stake for each win, meaning that players have a good chance of striking it rich. In addition, the games have been specially optimised for table, mobile and desktop devices, which means that there are more ways for players to connect and enjoy the fun than ever before. Trimark is based in Gibraltar and was founded by David Dent. This industry leader has a lot of experience in the fields of gaming development and marketing for both casual and social gaming, while in recent years he has been turning his attention to real money gaming. In the past, Trimark produced games for a number of third parties and in this role the company acted as a contract developer. However, Trimark was not in control of game production or end to end concept development. More recently, Trimark has been experimenting with creating fames especially for the innovative and extremely popular Facebook platform. Now the company is able to use its expertise and years of experience to develop platform technology of its own. The only down side of doing this is that a considerable amount of time as well as investment is required for Trimark to step out alone and show the world exactly what they are capable of. Therefore the company decided to team up with Odobo, which relieved the pressure faced by the company considerably. In a recent interview David Dent revealed that he is passionate about Trimark and is committed to creating and releasing innovative gaming products. He went on to explain that the Odobo platform contains all the elements that Trimark requires to really make their mark and that gamers can expect a large number of exciting developments in the coming months. As gamers may well know, Odobo is one of the largest companies in the highly competitive gaming industry and they are also known for their strong focus and innovative product solutions.

William Hill brings the Bingo Social Special

Truth be told, you are never going to get rich playing bingo, but at least you can enjoy a very social game in the company of fun loving people. This is exactly the reason for why so many chose to make the transition from land-based gambling to online casinos and William Hill present some great opportunities to fans of the genre. Their latest promotion goes by the name of Bingo Social Special and it captures the very essence of the game, so it comes as no surprise that so many players participate. If you want to play bingo in a friendly atmosphere and also claim some freebies, then you should definitely participate in this campaign. Players are supposed to visit the official webpage on Facebook and use the opportunity to play some of the bingo games listed there. By paying attention to all the news and special offers, they are going to receive bonuses ranging from free bet on sports to casino freebies and entry tokens to bingo tournaments. The idea is to get players fully immersed in the gambling atmosphere, while encouraging them to make the transition from one genre to the other. William Hill covers all spectrums of online gambling, so it's not going to be too difficult for new members to explore all these great games. At the same time, they provide new members with the incentive to learn more about the games, by being a part of special promotions such as the Guess the Slot competition. It speaks for itself and all those who managed to guess the slot machine by taking a glance at a low quality photo, will receive a bonus of €5 or currency equivalent. You need to spend this amount on the selected slot machine, which makes perfect sense, since this promotion there's players to guess the slot. The resulting profits are yours, but only after you meet the 20 times wagering requirements, so don't be too hasty and refrain from cashing out soon. The terms and conditions that apply to this promotion are pretty much the same that govern all the campaigns running live at this online casino. All those who are at least 18 years old are going to be allowed to sign up for this campaign and they also need to make a deposit to participate. The good news is that even if you fund your account anywhere within the last 30 days, you will be automatically enrolled which greatly simplifies the process. Since this campaign emphasizes the social nature of the game, the bonus code is going to be posted on Facebook, so make sure you stay active on the social network. Every player is eligible for a bonus, but don't expect to receive more than one freebie, by signing up for multiple accounts.

WAYNE ALLYN ROOT=> The Vegas Massacre Exposé: What Really Happened?

What Really Happened in Vegas on October 1st? Was ISIS involved?
By Wayne Allyn Root
The Vegas Massacre is clearly the new “JFK Murder Conspiracy” updated for the 21st century. The whole story stinks to high heaven. It’s rancid. Clearly, our own government, FBI and Las Vegas police are involved in some sort of cover-up. The question is- what are they covering up?
Las Vegas is my home. I have the top radio talk show in this town. Many dozens of Vegas residents have gotten in touch with me to give me their take on the Vegas Massacre. Included in that group has been MGM employees, top MGM executives, survivors of the worst mass shooting in US history, as well as law enforcement and retired homicide detectives. From my own gut instincts, investigation and these interviews with key players, I’ve pieced together this story. It’s not a pretty picture.
Like any good detective, I have lots of working theories. A good detective doesn’t rule anything out. Maybe it really is as simple and clean as “Stephen Paddock did it, case closed.” But there are way too many unanswered questions, problems and mysteries with that storyline.
So here are my “Top 20” nagging questions, inconsistencies and theories about the Vegas Massacre…
#1) RAMBO.
How did an overweight, out of shape, 60-year old, anonymous guy (on no one’s radar) with no military training and no military or law enforcement history become Rambo overnight? He carried out this plot with no help? Got hundreds of pounds of weapons to his room? He broke open a hurricane-strength 800- pound window? Set up sniper-type guns? Pulled off worst mass shooting in America’s history with no training, no help? Even though the one over-riding theme of every survivowitness I’ve spoken to, or heard from is…they saw or heard multiple shooters. Yet the FBI and Vegas police immediately discounted this theory. Why?
#2) The Constantly Changing Timeline.
Did guard Jesus Campos arrive before the shooting started, or after, or during? Why has the story changed so many times? Why can’t anyone get it straight? It’s telling how authorities finally settled on the one timeline most beneficial to MGM- the single biggest employer in a “company town” called Las Vegas. More on this under the Jesus Campos storyline.
#3) The Police Homicide Division isn’t Investigating the worst mass shooting in U.S. history?
FACT. I had guest on my Vegas radio show from a recently retired Vegas homicide detective. The detective reported that the Vegas Sheriff did NOT give the case to a division of 30+ experienced Vegas homicide detectives who deal with murder all day, every day.
He gave the case to a short-handed division of Internal Affairs that investigates police officer’s accidental discharge of a weapon. Huh? The Sheriff gave the worst mass shooting in US history to a small division of five cops who have never investigated a homicide? Why?
#4) The Vegas Sheriff.
Sheriff Joe Lombardo. In the interests of full disclosure, I was a fan. I supported the Sheriff in his election. I feel he is in very tough position here. MGM is biggest employer in this town and a huge donor to his past and future campaigns. During press conferences, it’s clear Sheriff Lombardo is under restraint in what he can and cannot say. The Las Vegas FBI bureau chief stands right behind him in every press conference with a look that could kill. The FBI clearly doesn’t want Sheriff Lombardi to reveal much. Why?
Since literally every Vegas Sheriff in history retires and goes to work as head of security for a large Vegas hotel for $250,000 per year (like MGM), and Vegas is a company town with MGM being the leading employer, and billions of dollars are on the line due to liability, insurance and tourism issues, it’s easy to see why the Vegas Sheriff is in tough spot. This might well explain the lack of information forthcoming from the LVMPD (Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department). Everyone involved is in a difficult spot.
#5) Where’s the video?
Vegas has video cameras everywhere. After NYC terror attacks we had videos on TV within hours. In this case…in hotels covered by hundreds of videos…6 months later we’ve never seen one video of the killer walking through the hotel. Why?
#6) The girlfriend.
Marilou Danley just happened to fly to Philippines a few days before her boyfriend carried out worst mass shooting in US history? Really? Great timing for her. And she just happens to admit her fingerprints could be on the ammo? And she just happened to erase her Facebook profile within an hour of the shooting…even though no one had released the name of Stephen Paddock in the media. How did she know it was him? How did she know to erase her FB page?
Oh, and the Philippines just happens to be a ISIS Islamic terror hotspot. And Paddock just happened to wire her $100,000 in the Philippines days before the massacre.
And Paddock just happened to have child porn on his computer. And ISIS is known to make money through child sex trafficking and child slavery. More on this “child porn” connection later.
#7) Money laundering.
Paddock had no obvious huge income stream. Paddock himself bragged that he was “one of the biggest High Roller video poker players in America.” Really? He lived in a $300,000 home in Mesquite, Nevada. That’s as middle class as you get. No one in his neighborhood could afford to gamble millions of dollars on video poker.
Sounds a lot like money laundering to me. What better way to mask money laundering than running millions through a Vegas casino. Who money launders? Terror groups like ISIS.
#8) Rich or “Heavily in Debt?”
First, we were told by the media that Paddock was “rich” and “a huge High Roller.” Of late, the Vegas Sheriff changed the story to “he was heavily in debt and may have had a grudge against casino for heavy losses.” Which one is it? Why does the story keep changing? Paddock left an estate of about $5 million. Why would he be angry at MGM over a few losses in the past year? How was his $5 million fortune earned? Money laundering still fits the puzzle. Perhaps he made partners along the way with ISIS?
#9) Paddock Paid Off His Marker?
This has NEVER been mentioned in the media once. I got this inside scoop directly from Paddock’s longtime Mandalay Bay casino host. Paddock owed MGM $100,000. On Friday night before the massacre Paddock won $100,000 playing video poker. If he was planning to die on Sunday he certainly would have blown it on hookers and cocaine. Or bought a Maserati and had it shipped to his girlfriend. Or gambled even higher amounts with the $100,000. But that’s not what Paddock did.
Instead he took the $100K and paid off his $100K MGM marker. He paid off his debt in full? Why would a crazed killer do something so responsible? Why would a suicidal man do that?
He wouldn’t. This was a man expecting to come back to MGM to enjoy many future free High Roller suites (provided by MGM). He clearly wanted MGM to keep giving him VIP treatment. This was not a man planning on mass murder and suicide within 48 hours.
#10) Child porn.
Police say they found child porn on Paddock’s computer. But it was announced after the shooting, Paddock’s hard drive was gone. Removed from his computer. Nowhere to be found.
So how did police find child porn? Not one journalist questioned this development. No one ever asked, “Did the hard drive miraculous re-appear?” Police never said a thing. First it was gone. Then they found child porn. Strange.
But if in fact child porn was found (on another computer removed from his home, or office) wouldn’t it make sense to investigate the connection to ISIS and the Philippines, where child sex trafficking is a primary mode of funding for Islamic terror groups?
#11) Every single witness from that concert that I spoke to, or heard, claimed there were multiple shooters.
Some swore they saw multiple shooters. Some say they were being fired at from different directions and levels. Yet police and FBI have ruled that out. So, all the witnesses are wrong?
#12) Jesus Campos. The “hero” security guard. Did he show up before…during…or after the massacre? His timeline changed multiple times. Why? MGM coaching him on timeline to make their liability less severe?
Why would the ONLY witness to worst mass shooting in US history be allowed to leave the country days later?
Worse, HOW did he drive many hours to Mexico with a bullet hole in his leg…only days after being seriously wounded? He needed a cane to appear on “Ellen” a month later. Yet he was fine 3 days after being shot? Does any of this make sense?
The amazing thing never mentioned by mainstream media was Ellen is not only a comedian, but she has multi-million-dollar partnership with MGM, with Ellen themed slot machines. So the only witness to the worst mass shooting in US history gave exactly one interview EVER. Ellen herself announced it would be his only interview ever. Yet it was arranged to be given exclusively to a comedian who is partners with MGM?
Where has Jesus disappeared to since? Never seen again? Is he living in a penthouse of a MGM property somewhere in world with millions in bank, courtesy of MGM? FBI and police don’t find this odd?
Top security execs at MGM called my radio show. All of them said they never heard the name Jesus Campos in their lives before the shooting. How is this possible?
Was he even registered as a security guard with State of Nevada? Or with MGM? Friends of mine got into the MGM database and Campos name either was never there, or it was scrubbed from the system. Why? An investigative reporter friend of mine reports Campos name was never in the state of Nevada system.
#13) Terrible & faulty security at MGM.
I have written about this storyline in my Las Vegas newspaper column multiple times. Dozens of MGM employees have called my radio show, or emailed me, to tell me how terrible security was at all MGM properties. My newspaper columns lay out a condemnation of MGM and their pathetic CEO Jim Murren. See:
https://www.reviewjournal.com/opinion/opinion-columns/wayne-allyn-root/commentary-guards-paint-an-eye-opening-picture-of-mgm-security-policies/
Murren slashed the budget for security…fired experienced guards…hired part time guys with no experience our training…he made the properties a gun free zone…had inferior walkie-talkies with dead zones all over the hotel…employees had no crisis training…no one was prepared…MGM had no rapid response SWAT team…Mandalay Bay changed guards at the exact same time each night: 10 PM- which is why the shooting started at that time when security was most disorganized…and worst of all…MGM let High Rollers use freight elevators with no security present, or questions asked. MGM guards called me to say they could NEVER question High Rollers about anything, or they’d be fired. So, no one ever asked Paddock a thing.
Amazingly, nothing has changed. Today, months later, my spies report they got on a Mandalay Bay freight elevator and went up to infamous 32nd floor. No one stopped them. No one asked them a question.
CEO Jim Murren is a pathetic, bleeding-heart, liberal who believes in donating MGM shareholder money to organizations like CAIR (called a Muslim terror front for Hamas by even Democrat US Senator Chuck Schumer) and The Southern Poverty Law Center (who puts Christians on “Hate Lists”). See two of my columns about MGM CEO Murren:
COMMENTARY: MGM’s CEO risks angering many of his customers
COMMENTARY: Sun publisher’s defense of Jim Murren comes up woefully short
Murren should certainly be under scrutiny for his incompetence and lack of proper security at Mandalay Bay, yet the liberal-biased mainstream media has protected him. They’ve never aimed the cannon at him once. Why? Are liberals protecting a “fellow traveler?”
#14) The mysterious stock sales patterns of Jim Murren and top MGM execs and Board of Directors in the days before the Vegas Massacre.
See:
COMMENTARY: More questions surrounding the Las Vegas Strip shooting
Why hasn’t media reported this? Is anyone aware by pure chance/coincidence the CEO of MGM sold most of his MGM shares in the weeks leading up to the massacre…and so did his top executives and some of his top Board members. How strange is that timing? When does this EVER happen at a public company?
I’ve never heard of a CEO of a public company selling off every share in his own company. What a complete lack of confidence. Does anyone think this is strange? Has anyone in the media ever asked the CEO about this? His eye was certainly not on the ball. Knowing all of this, it’s certainly not surprising that Paddock (or his partners in crime) chose a MGM property for the site of The Vegas Massacre.
Why has his MGM Board kept him employed? He’s a CEO that sold most of his stock, then presided over the worst terror attack in US history. These issues don’t concern the MGM Board? Bizarre.
#15) ISIS.
Here’s the BILLION DOLLAR question no one wants to discuss. Why? Did the FBI miss an obvious sign again? Does MGM have serious insurance issues if this attack is declared “terrorism”? Is Las Vegas worried about tying ISIS to Vegas and hurting tourism? Yet the signs were clear that there could be a connection to ISIS from the start.
First, ISIS promised in a video (covered in blood) in the Spring of 2017 to attack Vegas. See:
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/isis-video-featuring-las-vegas-strip-viewed-credible-threat-article-1.3196042
Second, the Vegas Massacre had the M/O of several previous ISIS attacks. They seem to enjoy attacking concerts and hotels. See the Paris nightclub concert and Manchester Arianna Grande concert. Not to mention numerous hotels attacks throughout the world.
But this never occurred to the FBI?
And Paddock (or his partners in crime) just happened to pick a country music concert? A place filled with people hated by ISIS or any Islamic extremist group- whites, Christians, Trump-loving conservatives. Coincidence?
But this never occurred to the FBI?
Third, then ISIS took credit 4 times for the Vegas massacre.
Never before in history has ISIS ever taken credit four times for any terror attack.
The FBI immediately announced ISIS wasn’t involved. How strange is that? ISIS promised to attack Vegas. A hotel and concert was attacked. ISIS claimed credit four times. The FBI took five minutes to rule them out as suspects.
The Islamic terror experts I interviewed on my radio show- to a man- all believed this had at least some Islamic terror fingerprints on it…all believed ISIS has to be (at the very least) a leading suspect…
and all agreed ISIS does NOT have a history of taking credit for attacks they aren’t involved in. The ISIS experts I interviewed reported a false claim by ISIS only happened once- at a Philippines casino. And even that attack is in dispute. The Philippines government calls it a robbery. Many terror experts believe it was clearly ISIS coordinated.
In history, ISIS has never taken credit for any attack four times. Still the FBI ruled them out almost instantly. Why?
#16) Did CEO Murren & MGM pay for a terrorism insurance rider?
This is just an educated guess. I called several insurance experts. All reported that typical insurance policies for billion dollar hotels don’t pay off for terror attacks. The company needs to purchase an expensive additional insurance rider specifically for terrorism. Yet MGM executives who have called me all claim that Murren is cheap and focused 24/7 on cutting costs.
If MGM had no insurance rider for terrorism, they desperately need this attack to be classified as “murder by a madman” versus “terrorist attack.” It’s the difference between collecting a billion dollars (or more) from insurance…or nothing. Zero. Zip. Nada. This could be why police, FBI, MGM and everyone involved is so desperate to not mention terrorism. MGM is the world’s leading gaming company. Billions of dollars of stock investors, thousands of jobs and the economy of Las Vegas are all effected by the classification of this attack.
I made this guess publicly for the first time on my radio show when interviewing an attorney representing 50 of the survivors. He was in Vegas that day for a meeting of all the attorneys from across the country involved in this case. He was shocked at my educated guess. He stated live on the radio that this was exactly what his fellow attorneys suspect.
#17) The autopsies.
The Las Vegas coroner refused to release the autopsies. The media had to sue to get information released. The media won and the Nevada Supreme Court ruled the information had to be released to the public. See:
Nevada Supreme Court overturns Las Vegas shooting autopsies ruling
Yet at that point, the Vegas police demanded $500,000 to release mountains of their info on the Vegas Massacre to the media. Once again, a Nevada judge had to rule they have no right to do that. See:
https://legalinsurrection.com/2018/03/judge-rules-police-cant-charge-media-huge-fees-for-vegas-massacre-information/
Strange. Why are Vegas authorities so desperate to not release information on the Vegas Massacre to the public?
#18) Trump.
There is no biggest supporter or defender of President Trump than myself. I think he’s the greatest conservative president in U.S. history. But he’s been strangely silent on this high-profile incident. It’s not just any incident. It’s the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.
Even liberal Trump-haters have to agree on these points. President Trump loves controversy. Right? He loves to weigh in on every crisis or controversial issue, right? He doesn’t care if he offends anyone, right? He loves to dominate headlines, right? Don’t all liberals agree about that?
But the President has mysteriously steered clear of this story.
NEVER a peep from Trump about his theories on The Vegas Massacre. Nothing. Nada. Zero. Crickets. In the almost 6 months since this terrible event, the President has never said a word…no theory…never ventured even a guess. Isn’t that strange? Out of character?
#19) To sum it all up…
We’re almost at the 6-month mark. And we know as little now as the day after the massacre.
How can this be? After every other mass shooting we know everything within hours. With this one, the most-high profile mass shooting in U.S. history, we know NOTHING. Zero. We’re completely in the dark. Don’t you find this strange?
But I’m not done yet…
I’ve saved the best for last. Drumroll please…
#20) Now here’s my biggest theory/mystery of all…
The Timeline:
A working theory of mine.
A highly suspicious/mysterious timeline, almost impossible it could be a coincidence…
October 1- Vegas Massacre
October 25-29- Just days after Vegas Massacre, President Trump’s son-in- law Jared Kushner makes secret unannounced trip to Saudi Arabia- as per “Politico.”
Purpose? As announced by Politico- “President Trump is asking for Saudi Arabia’s help in “combating terror financing.”
Media reporting on what they termed a “secret trip.”
https://www.politico.com/story/2017/10/29/jared-kushner-saudi-arabia-244291
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/jared-kushner-took-secret-trip-to-saudi-arabia-report/article/2638933
http://www.newsweek.com/jared-kushner-trump-officials-made-secret-visit-saudi-arabia-695859
November 5- Only days later, the roundup begins by the King of Saudi Arabia and his security forces- they arrest, detain, interrogate and TORTURE over 300 billionaire Saudi Princes. These are the most wealthy and powerful men in Saudi Arabia. Why? Why does this happen only days after a last-minute, secret visit by Trump’s son-in-law with an urgent diplomatic message from President Trump?
See media reports:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5108651/American-mercenaries-torturing-Saudi-princes.html
https://www.globalresearch.ca/american-mercenaries-torturing-saudi-elites-rounded-up-by-crown-prince-blackwater-is-allegedly-involved/5619654
http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/exclusive-senior-figures-tortured-and-beaten-saudi-purge-1489501498
Even more remarkable of a “coincidence”…
One specific Saudi prince who was arrested and tortured was Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, who just happens to be the owner of Four Seasons hotel- on the top floors of Mandalay Bay.
Read a story on his torture:
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-11-23/alwaleed-bin-talal-hung-upside-down-and-beaten-us-mercenaries
See CNBC story on the arrest. CNBC compared it to arresting Bill Gates or Warren Buffett in the USA. See:
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/06/saudi-crackdown-would-be-like-the-us-arresting-warren-buffett.html
That specific Prince was then transferred to highest security prison in Saudi Arabia to be tortured. See comments from his business partner Bill Gates about the arrest:
https://www.albawaba.com/business/bill-gates-alwaleed-bin-talal-1054336
Civil Rights groups announced to the media how worried they were about the billionaire prince. See:
https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/saudi-arabia-alwaleed-prison-human-rights/2018/01/17/id/837776/
This doesn’t seem more than a little strange? Could the timing of all of this be just a little coincidence?
A prince worth $15 to $20 billion…partners with Bill Gates in owning the Las Vegas Four Seasons…just happens to be arrested, tortured and imprisoned in highest security prison in Saudi Arabia?
All happening within days after Vegas Massacre, which happened to occur literally on his property (just floors below his hotel).
Meanwhile President Trump- who loves chaos, crisis and controversy- is strangely silent. Not one word about the Vegas Massacre in 6 months.
All a coincidence?
Or was the Vegas Massacre some kind of international incident involving Islamic terror cells either coming from Saudi Arabia…or financed by Saudi billionaire princes sympathetic to the ISIS cause?
Were these 300+ arrests of billionaire princes by the new King of Saudi Arabia within days of getting an urgent diplomatic message from President Trump just a coincidence?
Or was all of this based on what happened in Vegas?
Have I put 2 + 2 together? Certainly, this storyline and timeline is worth exploring and asking questions. The mainstream media has never said a word. Crickets. Asleep at the switch.
As wild as all of these questions and scenarios are, they make far more sense than the story we’ve been told by FBI, police and our government.
The scenario I’ve laid out makes far more sense than the fact that we know nothing about the worst mass shooting 6 months after the fact.
We know nothing about the shooter, or his motive.
There are no videos.
There was no suicide note.
A 60-year old overweight nobody, with no military or law enforcement experience, became Rambo overnight, and without help, pulled off the worst mass shooting in US history?
If you believe that story, I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.
Was ISIS involved? Did the shooting involve Saudi Arabia, or the financing of some kind of terror cell by radical Saudi princes? Did Paddock act alone? Did MGM have the necessary terrorism insurance rider in place? Who the heck is Jesus Campos? Why is the FBI appear missing in action? Why are Vegas authorities so desperate to keep information out of the public’s hands? These are all questions that need to be asked. The big question is…
Why is no one asking them?

Questions Answers
What was your favorite skit on Whose Line Is It Anyway? Richard simmons jet ski. you tube it. i wasnt in it, but i dont care. funniest thing ever!
How did you get so good at improvising songs? I thought you were one of the few who could keep up with Wayne. I blame several concussions.
I saw that "Whose Line Is It Anyway" is going to be re-running again. How much of what you guys do is true on-the-spot improv and how much was you guys kind of relying on jokes you've come up with before (tried and true punchlines for certain situations?) I feel like if you play those games enough times certain things come up more than once and you can go to the memory bank with what worked before. What's the balance of leaning on old material versus true creative spark when you're doing improv? It was always on the spot. we never try to do the same jokes. we strived to always be original. you are always trying to react in a funny way.
Its Cool to hear that WHiiA is coming back! Is the whole gang coming back? It is not certain whether I will be back on WLIIA. the CW is looking for new improvisers for the fourth chair. If the show gets picked up for more episodes, i'm sure Greg and I will return.
I saw in "This vs. That," you're testing whether it's faster to weave through traffic or stay in your lane. WELL WHICH IS IT??? The exec producer has expressly forbidden me to answer that. tune in to see.
Hello! You're one of my favorite performers! This is the funniest song styles I've ever seen (the one where you rhyme Neroshi). Which type of game was your favorite and least favorite? Was there ever any recognition for being announced the winner at the end of Whose Line, maybe after the show? Did you guys ever know about the celebrity guest beforehand or was it always a surprise? Which were your favorite performers to work with? When will your show come through Georgia? Which shows do you watch online/tv? Here are my responses in order to your Qs Thanks. Thanks again. SOund FX & Hoedown. No Spankings after show. It was a surprise. Sid Caesar. Been there twice. Pay attention. Breaking Bad. you're welcome.
What is it like living with a 9 inch penis? Colin lives in Toronto...
Thanks for doing this AMA. I really love your work. What's the best advice you have for someone trying to become more confident in improv? I've gotten pretty far off of "Say 'Yes, and'", but my biggest issue is giving out too many jokes when only half are actually funny. How do you avoid awkward silence without forcing too many duds? Dont plan. listen and react. if you react, youre not writing jokes in your head and disconnected from your fellow players.
During a pay per view special a while back you did with the whose line gang people would constantly mention doritos. Did you guys get paid to say that or just beating a dead horse? Doritos was the sponsor, and we began mocking them, because we are all childish. we didnt get any bonus for saying it over and over.
Hey Brad, what is your most favorite thing about Drew Carey, past and present? His generosity toward the people he works with is unmatched and rare in this business. one time he took the cast and crew of the Drew Show & WLIIA on a weeklong private carribean cruise.
Take that Seinfeld!
How do you differentiate your show from Mythbusters? This is how my new show, This Vs. That is different from Mythbusters. Mythbusters deals with things that are “cinematic myths” or “urban legends”-- for example, “Can a ninja walk on water?” While revealing that is good TV... it doesn’t have any practical application to everyday life. I don’t know any ninjas.
This vs. That, on the other hand, deals with things that go on in our lives... It’s about things that are REAL... It’s about the world within arm’s reach. We answer questions about choices and obstacles that we all might have to navigate in the world... and hopefully make that navigating easier.
We’re using science, leading experts from UCLA, The Fermi Lab (among others) and dynamic experiments to reveal answers to life’s most common... and vexing dilemmas. We want to provide viewers information so that when they find themselves in a similar situation, they’ll make better decisions. Our Motto: No bias. No bullshit. Just science, fact, and funny.
Will you fluff my garfield? Consider it done.
What's your favorite bit/sketch that you've ever done? Edit: Or what is your favorite type of game to do on Whose Line? (Like songs, the alphabet game, questions only, etc.) I did a really lovely sketch of a ladder when i was eight. it looked very realistic.
Thanks for stopping by to answer our questions. Who are some people that you would love to do improv with, but have not had a chance to? Greg Proops!
What do you think of Whose Line Is It Anyway? coming back? I hope the CW gives it a good time slot and room to get its audience back!
Favorite pizza toppings? Best professional/career related decision you've made? Jalapeno. Reddit.
Is your head really that big? Or does the TV add like 3 hat sizes? Sadly, my head is abnormally large.
Brad, I heard there was an interesting incident while you where filming the Traffic Experiment. My brother-in-law created the show and I understand was filming in the car with you. What happened? Jon Hotchkiss, the producer of my new show This Vs. That. got car sick while filming. we had to pull over so he could puke.
Amateur...
I've seen your live improv show. And seriously, what's wrong with Colin Mochrie? He's not right. He's mental...
Who are your role models? Has anyone been a great influence for you? Time Conway, art carney, monty python, don knotts, monty python, & monty python.
What's your opinion on the divide between short form and long form improv? Also, what has been the best advice you have received while starting out in this art form? First off, since you"re a "baby improver", if you could make a version that doesn't shit and cry, you would be rich.
Drew always said the points don't matter, but they did, didn't they? The points do matter. we saved up our points & at the end of the season, each point was converted into credits at the Olive Garden.
Don't you get tired of people asking if Whose Line was genuinely improvised? haha because even I get annoyed when people ask that, because I know that it was. I take it as a backhanded "you guys couldnt possibly be that clever" kind of compliment.
During WLiiA, who made you crack up more? Me.
I have a question about Laura from whos line. How does she know all those songs? The producers would give her a list of bands & genres and she would go home and arrange songs that sounded like them, but wouldnt be a legal problem for copyright.
Is a reverse mortgage right FOR ME? No.
Hey Brad you guys are truly talented but with it being so niche, what is the appeal of doing improv, compared to a regular acting gig or a stand up routine? There are many forms of many forms of art & comedy. WHy do some people play jazz and others play metal?
Were any of Wayne's songs scripted? They always seemed way too perfect. I loved the show-- it helped me through my awkward teenage years. No part of this show was scripted. we heard a song title and immediately the music started, and we were off & singing whether we had an idea or not.
Did you prefer the UK version or US version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? No difference for me as a performer. the commute was easier for the US version...
Could you go in-depth about the mouse trap bit? Were they all real and set mouse traps? Have you gotten sed to feeling their sting? How in the hell did that idea even begin in the first place? I haveto admit it was the funniest part of your show. Oh and also, please come to Chicago! Theyre real. sometimes they hurt, sometimes they don't.
What are some of the best bald-jokes that you know? 5 head.
Would you rather speak every language in the world or have the ability to play every musical instrument? I'd rather be a great guitarist than any other super power i dont already have.
What was the one scene from a hat that you felt stood out from the rest? As improvisers, we are in "comedy crisis" mode while performing. we usually dont even remember the scene until we see it on TV.
On a scale of 1 to 10, just how bald is Colin Mochrie? 7.75 his hair is like wrap around seating in a diner booth.
Do you like trains? I like tuhr-tles...
Also, are you and Colin planning on having more tour dates? You guys should come to Austin. Colin & Brad live tour dates for Spring/Summer.
Yeah, I saw the tour dates on your website, none of which are near me (which is why I asked if you plan on adding more). We've toured for 10 years. always adding more.
Nearly everyone I know that has watched Whose Line has their favorite moment from the show. Over the course of the entire series, what was yours? Richard simmons.
Brad! How did you like playing the horny hobo in "Jane White is Sick & Twisted"? By far the weirdest movie I have ever seen. I'm still waiting for my oscar.
Brad! My family and I have seen the Colin and You Show about three times now -- hysterical every time. Any horror stories from any of those shows? PS Two Man Group is one of my most-watched shows on Netflix. Thank you for your demented & loyal support!
Are you famous enough that you get a lot of tail? I'm famous enough for my wife's tail.
What was your best experience with Colin or Ryan on whose line? Lunch.
Who was the better host: Drew or Clive? (my money is on Clive) Both were great. Both were truly nice guys too.
Favorite Whose Line moment? Payday.
What made you go into improv comedy? Is there anything you do (or you used to do) to prepare yourself for anything that comes at you onstage? Thanks for doing this IAMA! I love making people laugh. improv is a comedy martial art. you have to be ready for whatever comes at you.
Practice your craft.
Ironically, I was just watching an episode of Whose Line this past night in which you were the fourth chair. I like my banana bread without nuts.
I suppose the logical question to follow would be what is your favorite recipe for banana bread? Dont forget to spay or neuter you pet.
What is your favorite "game" on Whose Line Is It Anyway? ? SFX.
What are your thoughts on Chicago long-form improv? I like CHicago deep dish pizza.
I grew up doing long and short form.
One is bumper cars and one is cross-country skiing.
Do you ever get tired of being known mainly for whose line when it's been done for years now? No!
Brad! What was your favourite moment from WLIIA? Who's your favourite other cast member? What is the most ridiculous scenes from a hat that you had to do? Vague memories buried under 1000's of hours of performing live improv makes that truly impossible to answer.
Hello Brad! 1-) Will you be on new series of Whose line? 2-)will you or whose line crew will ever come Turkey?(i know its a long shot) Colin and I have been to india.
If the spot for the 4th chair came down to it, who would win in a fight, you or Greg? A "talent fight" or an actual fight? I watch a lot of UFC. i think i could arm-bar Greg pretty quick...
Hi Brad! love your work! Me and a friend are going to perform the game Whose line/sentences in two days for an audience. Do you have any wise words to share with us? Also if it goes well, we will do a hoedown on a later occasion. Could you reveal some of your technique in this game? Hoedown: always rhyme with "ass".
What would you say the first rule of improv is? Who is one person that you want to perform with that you have not had the chance to yet? What type of music do you listen to? Listen. Ricky Gervais. Metal, Folk, Hip Hop, Hair Band 80s.
Is that the same Mark Decarlo from "Studs" in the "This vs. That" trailers...? He's much older and wiser now.
Going by the outtakes from WLIIA, it seemed like everyone really hated the Hoedowns. Any insight on that? About how many times a taping did you guys end up having to retry a hoedown? I didnt hate them as much as others. rhyming was easy for me.
How upset was that blond woman when you sang about her breasts on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" She actually seemed pretty offended but it was still hilarious to watch. Relevant clips starts at 4:45. Her left breast wasn't offended at all.
Are there games on Whose Line you didn't get to take part in that you wish you did? (Being the field reporter on newsflash, etc) No.
Brad! You were one of the best on Whose Line, what was your favorite game on the show? Most memorable/fun moment? Thanks! love so many games. new CHoice, SFX,
I know having two unanswered questions is kind of taboo here on reddit but, what is one piece of advice that you would give to today's youth? Take time to laugh. Don't get caught up in an over reactive, angry world. Everybody is an angry democrat or angry republican. Your political, or religious views don't have to be defended to the death against someone who disagrees. (There will always be 'disagree-ers' [new word])
Don't lose your life into your gadgets. Your phone is a seductive universe. For every hour you spend inside the web (or texting, or gaming), spend an hour painting, songwriting, hiking, etc.
Spread peace. Be tolerant. Listen more than you talk. Be overly courteous to people you interact with in the world. It will come back to you.
Share your positive thoughts. Withhold your negative thoughts. Do not stay in destructive relationships. Find your joy.
What is your favorite drink? Dirty Martini.
How long did it take you to perfect your B52's impression? Didnt even know i did one until they threw that style at me.
Would you please tell us a joke? I'll just tell the punch line.
"All I could see was the monkey trying to put the cork back in!"
About often did you have to refilm a scene on Whose Line because of unairable content? We never refilmed. they would just cut out a game if it was too "unairable".
What's your favourite city to perform in / where have you had the best time doing improv? My favorite town is your city, USA.
(cheesy grin)
Would you and your mates consider a tour in Europe(possibly in Italy)? :) Yes! Grazi!
Do you want to guest star on the new version of whose line? And do you still hang out with the other performers? Are Ryan's feet really that big? Yes. yes. yes.
Any plans to come to the west coast? I'm there now. Mission accomplished.
Do you know about Link to fuckyeahbradsherwood.tumblr.com ? Now I do! it's the finest website in all the land.
How does it feel to be king of the "If you know what I mean" game? Like a bag of sausages in a jacuzzi...
Is improv something worth doing to make yourself a '"better" person' (more out going, confident, wittier, funnier, ect)? In theory, yes. but most improvisers are whack-a-doodle.
I think you are very talented, I loved the show "whoes line is it anyway." I always wondered have any of you had a day where you are just brain dead and cant think of a witty comeback? Was there a secret signal you had to give for someone else to take over? We didn't need secret signals. We had electric buzzers in our shorts. If we weren't being funny, the producers would shock us. That's why Colin occasionally fainted on stage.
Are you going to be on the new Whose Line? Why is Drew Carey not hosting it? Do you listen to Proops' wonderful podcast? Maybe, Dunno, Yes.
It must have been awesome working with those guys on whoseline, you guys were always funny, but did you go to college and what did you want to be when you were younger? I went to college for acting. I wanted to be an actor since I was 8.
Me and my buddies are having a poker game in Jersey on Thursday. You down to come? Deeal me in.
Favorite sport to watch(if any)? How long does it take to film one episode of whose line? Oddly I watch UFC & X games only.
Ryan always use to make fun about Drew's high salary. Was there such a huge difference between them in pay terms? No. The were both exec producers.
WHEN IS WHOS LINE COMING BACK!!!? There's a great website called Reddit where I answer this question. This summer...
Did Drew Carry ever actually threaten to fire you after the hundreds of times the cast joked about him? No, but he did hold a "points embargo" in protest of having to do hoedowns.
I saw you and Colin a few years ago and I almost peed myself when you were rolling around on mousetraps. Of course it was absolutely hilarious, but what on earth possessed you to do that as part of your show? We wanted to make people pee. I guess we failed in your case...
So no love for the West Coast huh? Love it here. I live here. But people in snow come to the show.
What is the strangest predicament you have ever been in while touring? We were kidnapped by monkeys in Omaha, leaving an Applebee's.
So Brad, is there really nothing better than a 200 pound snatch? If you know what I mean. A Cajun clam waffle is also pretty awesome...
Shit I can't believe I missed this. I hate work. WLIIA got me through so much angst and depression because I could never help but laugh at you guys when I was at my lowest. You are one of my favorite WLIIAers...you and Greg Proops are tied I think, but I had an opportunity to watch one of his stand up shows and found him hilarious and charming. So my question (that I am sure will not be answered because you are long gone but I still want to ask) is: given the opportunity, what would you do to tip the scales in your favor? Answering your reddit question?
Brad I have seen your show four times with Colin, you guys are awesome! How many toes have you broken in the mouse trap act? All eleven...
You know what you should do? Come to New Zealand. I'm now old enough to actually go to shows and yours would be very high up on the list of people I want to see :D Love your work! On my way, Kiwi.
Where do you get your beautifully Hawaiian shirts? Korea.
Do you hate any games as much as Ryan hated Hoedowns? No.
I'm 24. When I was a young girl I only had two TV crushes you and the Fonz. How does that make you feel. Cool. (get some counseling)
This is very important information. Other topics the show tackles: A. What’s the fastest way to board passengers onto an airplane? B. What’s the fastest way to navigate through freeway traffic? Stay in your lane, weave in and out of cars, or is better to take the surface streets? C. Which flotation device is more likely to save your life if you survive a plane crash into water: The life vest or the seat cushion? D. Which is really better for the environment? Paper Bags or Plastic Bags? E. What’s the safest roof to have on your house if you live in a hurricane zone, a steep roof or a roof with a gentle slope? We used a Hurricane Fan that blew wind and rain at 125 Miles Per Hour to find out! F. Which is smarter, Dogs or Cats?
I just wanted to say thank you for your support to the LGBT community! You're welcome! there is no bigger ciivil rights issue at hand in America. if any American was denied an equal right based on their religious belief, there would be protests & fury.
Someday, we will all have equal rights and people will have to come to terms with their homophobia in their own minds, not in courts and voting booths.
Can't wait for this to start -^ Me neither.
I really just came here to tell you that I'm a huge fan and think that you're fucking hilarious. I will be watching the new show. U rock.
Dude. I saw your most dangerous improve stunt at casino rama a couple years ago! I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. This isn't a question. Sorry. I'm bad at taking instructions. You don't have to in life.
Give me your best "if you know what I mean" taking place in a homeless shelter... Nice bum...
I'm so excited for "This Vs. That"! Finally a show that is both entertaining and informative. This vs. That PREMIERES on the Web MONDAY March 18th 2.

Icehole!!! Sometimes!
Brad, I can't stop staring at your breasts. Pot titties, mofo!
Describe Jeff B. Davis in one word or acknowledge my existence. Either one will bring me great joy because I've watched Whose Line since before I could understand the jokes. Also, I seem to enjoy run on sentences. Jeff might be the greatest raconteur I know on planet earth.
YES! I love you Mr. White Wayne Brady! Don't make Mr. white Wayne Brady use my hand to aggressively strike upon an undesirable female dog...(this is hard)
I don't really have any questions. Just stopped in to tell you that The Colin and Brad Show Tour is hilarious. I appreciate humor that I can watch with my parents and not get immensely uncomfortable. Thanks! Happy to keep your parents comfortable...
We just started doing improv in my theater class and I'm so good at all the games because I watch a lot of Whose Line. I just wanted to say thank you! Keep it up. The world will always need funny people.
I fucking love you man. Seriously, thank you for all the laughs. There were times where I've been really stressed out and watching you do your thing made me forget about my troubles. Thank you. Laughter is the best medicine without a prescription.
Nice article you had on the Huffington Post. . I can't read...
I have no question, I just wanted to say that I have watched every episode of WLiiA, and you are absolutely my favorite performer on that show! You are a genius!
Hearing Whose Line is coming back really made the ol dingle dangle, if you know what I mean. Pull up your pants, pervert!
I'm a huge fan of "Whose Line.." and I've probably watched all your skits from that show on youtube. I want to thank you for the countless hours of happiness you gave me. You are amazing man. Good luck with your new shows. I'm from India btw! Namaste!
I know you probably won't see this but i loved the Disney's California Adventure special you and Colin did when it opened. I love the parks and watch the Disneyland specials before going, I always watch that one. I never saw it. Completely forgot until you just mentioned it! LOL.
How is your overall friendship with Drew, Ryan and Colin. I have a restraining order against one of them. One them has a restraining order against me. I'm sleeping with the third.
You're cute, Brad. Oh, I know, Rosie.
Oh my god I came too late.. I love you man, my favourite scene of you is on the segment where you guys had to sing one syllable word at a time and you faked fainting, oh my god, that was hilarious! thank you for making me laugh.. keep on doing this :) That was Colin's gag. (Maybe I stole it...)
I justed wanted to say that you're a beast on Quick Change, and that hasn't been said enough. You always came up with a completely different line changing all the mood of the scene. You're awesome. I know...
